“Jessie has the ability to see the creative, human-centered aspects of a project… Jessie uses her keen artistic perspective and training in the field of cognitive psychology to evaluate and make user interface designs maximally efficient, interactive and aesthetically pleasing.”

I conduct mixed-methods research — including user interviews, usability testing, heuristic evaluations, persona development, journey mapping, and benchmarking — to uncover the needs, pain points, and workflows of patients, clinicians, and caregivers in complex healthcare contexts.
I translate research insights into intuitive, accessible interfaces, workflows, and educational materials that perform reliably under real conditions of care, with particular attention to health literacy, cognitive load, and inclusive design.
Drawing on my background in community health education and health equity, I bring evidence-based approaches to health literacy, program design, and culturally responsive communication — ensuring digital tools are not only usable but meaningful within the communities they serve.
