This screenshot depicts the website I developed for my summer 2009 internship with the University of Michigan Health Sciences Scholars Program. The details of this internship, including the skills utilized and the knowledge acquired, are located in my official School of Information public e-Portfolio.
I designed 100% of this website, and used a number of interesting Web 2.0 technologies to add force to the content and design. These technologies include Java applets, a JavaScript dynamic drop-down menu, JavaScript accordions to hold important content, and a Flash-powered flip book for displaying reading lists. The image at right displays one of the accordions incorporated into the website.

This website is my official design for my nature photography business. It utilizes JavaScript and PHP to render the content dynamically. The two applications used to create this website are FlickrViewer and SimpleViewer. FlickrViewer retrieves photographic content from photo sets stored in my Flickr account.
To create this website, I configured PHP files, manipulated various Cascading Style Sheets, wrote XHTML, designed logos, and organized JavaScript files.

The image at right displays the experimental interface I am currently designing for my nature photography business. This version uses CSS positioning and CSS style rules to create image galleries. The large images are displayed when the mouse is hovering over each thumbnail image, a technique accomplished with a CSS gallery container and special hover style rules.
The following website from CSS Play demonstrates a related implementation of this technique.
