I am a User Experience Research Engineer at Ford Motor Company!
I graduated from the University of Michigan with a Master of Science in Information degree, with a specialization in Human-Computer Interaction, in April of 2010. Prior to that, I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in December of 2005. Since 2010, I’ve been working as a UX’er, with titles including Information Architect, User Experience Designer, and Usability Engineer. User Experience is the umbrella term that encompasses Usability, Information Architecture, Interaction Design, and so on. I possess skills for all of these roles.
In this portfolio I have excerpts from a Heuristic Evaluation, an Interaction Flow Map, Usability Test findings and associated wireframes that I completed at Cengage in 2013. Beyond that, I’m utilizing a fictive Web application to house design ideas portrayed using screenshots from an Axure RP Pro prototype. The descriptions accompanying the images serve to illustrate my design decision-making rationale.
